These terms apply when you use this website or work with me on a project. I've tried to keep them sensible and fair.

Using this website

You're welcome to browse the site, use the quote estimator, and get in touch. Please don't try to break anything or use it for anything dodgy.

Quotes and estimates

The estimates provided by the quote tool are indicative, not binding. They're based on the information you provide and typical project complexity.

A proper quote requires a conversation to understand your requirements fully. Once I provide a written quote for a specific scope of work, that price is fixed unless the scope changes.

Working together

If we decide to work together, I'll send you a separate contract that covers:

  • Exactly what I'm building
  • Timeline and milestones
  • Payment terms (typically a deposit upfront, balance on completion)
  • What happens if either of us needs to cancel
  • Who owns the finished work (you do, once paid)

I don't start work without a signed agreement. It protects both of us.

Payment terms

Payment terms depend on the project. For smaller jobs, payment on completion is fine. For larger projects, I typically ask for a deposit upfront with the balance on completion, or we can arrange milestone payments.

I'm flexible on this and happy to discuss what works for you. I accept bank transfer and most major payment methods.

Revisions and changes

The quote covers the agreed scope. If you want to add features or make changes during the project, I'll let you know if it affects the price or timeline before doing the work. No surprises.

Cancellation

If you need to cancel a project:

  • Before work starts: full refund of any deposit
  • During the project: you pay for work completed to date

I'll always try to be fair about this. Sometimes things don't work out, and that's okay.

Liability

I do my best to deliver quality work, but I can't be held responsible for indirect losses, lost profits, or things outside my control. My liability is limited to the amount you've paid me for the project.
